Community Involvement

At Bay Oral Surgery and Implant Center, we understand that the only way to be truly part of a community is in giving back. Our oral surgeons are not only well-respected, but they are extremely involved in giving back to the communities in which we serve. Learn more about the various ways we strive to improve the standard of living throughout our communities below.

Salute to Smiles is a program designed for local veterans to connect with area dentists who come from military backgrounds in order to provide necessary dental procedures.  The inspiration for this program came from Bay Oral Surgery’s three ex-military oral surgeons, Dr. David LeMoine, Dr. Bradley Koch, and Dr. Charles Ellis.  Salute to Smiles began in 2015 and has now become an annual event that our team, participating dental practices, event sponsors and our communities look forward to every year.

WDA Mission of Mercy

The Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) Foundation’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program helps bring needed dental care to Wisconsin residents who are unable to afford treatment because of a limited income that is clearly linked to a permanent disability, chronic illness or advanced age.  Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis provided they do not have any medically-compromising condition that would prohibit them from receiving care. In 2014 our Bay Oral Surgery & Implant Center doctors provided 45 hours of surgical services in 2 days! Way to go team!

Bay Oral Surgery & Implant Center doctors volunteer approximately 10 hours each month throughout the year to serve those in our community that are uninsured, underinsured or Medical Assistance patients from Northeast Wisconsin, while enhancing the education of tomorrow’s health care providers. Most services are provided at no cost or at a minimum fee to those who qualify.
